NO White Underwear Surrender to Rabuka and Prasad: UNITY FIJI fights back and declares that the PARTY will contest the elections on its OWN

9/4/2022

“The strong support from across the nation indicated that Unity Fiji has shed its “small” brand that were used by some political parties to discourage voters from voting for Unity Fiji in 2018. For their own convenience, some people still point to the 2018 election results for Unity Fiji. I would like to tell these people that for Unity Fiji, this election will never be like 2018. We can physically sense the momentum of this growing support. More people are now aware of Unity Fiji. They now know who we are and what we stand for. They recognise our strengths and proven ability to take Fiji out of the current mess that we are facing. The great turnout at the AGM has clearly signaled that Unity Fiji has now taken its seat at the table of leadership in Fiji. Therefore, Unity Fiji will contest the 2022 elections on our own. We firmly believe that, with our growing support, we will take our seat at the leadership table in Fiji."
Unity Party leader Savenaca Narube

Fijileaks on PAP-NFP Honeymoon on the Rocks: After recent marriage between PAP-NAG (Snake) party leaders, a major rift is beginning to emerge regarding Indo-Fijian voters. Indo-Fijians who joined PAP to contest the election, are demanding to know who RABUKA will campaign for, and call on Indo-Fijians to vote for? Will he campaign for Biman Prasad or for his own Indo-Fijian candidates? For example, if the Labasa businessman Charan Jeath Singh who has crossed from NFP to PAP has any chance at the poll, Rabuka must woo away NFP Indo-Fijian voters to Singh. Similarly, tension is mounting regarding i-Taukei voters. What is the MOU on targetting of voters? Will Prasad (re i-Taukei candidates) and Rabuka (re Indo-Fijian candidates) sacrifice their ethnic candidates? An unforgivable PAAP because of the hasty marriage the two entered into without a proper vote game plan. Rabuka has a history of betrayal. If he decides (aware of the horrible rape, violence, torture, and disenfranchisement he inflicted on the Indo-Fijians) that it would be best for Prasad to woo Indo-Fijian voters, then the Labasa businessman Charan Jeath Singh might only be able to garner 150 votes, mostly from his staff and family members, and banished into the political wilderness

The Leader of Unity Fiji and former Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji said that Unity Fiji will fight the 2022 elections on its own.

Mr. Narube confirmed that this was the clear message from the party’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday in Suva. More than 400 delegates were at the AGM, with some coming as far away as Vanua Levu.

“The strong support from across the nation indicated that Unity Fiji has shed its “small” brand that were used by some political parties to discourage voters from voting for Unity Fiji in 2018,” said Savenaca Narube.

The Leader of Unity Fiji
added, “For their own convenience, some people still point to the 2018 election results for Unity Fiji. I would like to tell these people that for Unity Fiji, this election will never be like 2018. We can physically sense the momentum of this growing support.”

“More people are now aware of Unity Fiji. They now know who we are and what we stand for. They recognise our strengths and proven ability to take Fiji out of the current mess that we are facing. The great turnout at the AGM has clearly signaled that Unity Fiji has now taken its seat at the table of leadership in Fiji,” said the Leader of Unity Fiji.

Mr. Narube explained to the AGM that he had tried his very best to unite all opposition parties.
He had talked to all opposition leaders on many occasions after the 2018 elections. “I was the only Leader that was trying to unite us. In the interest of the country, I lament the fact that I was not successful. I respect the decisions of the Leaders of political parties not to join a coalition before the elections. But in my view, our combined position would have been much stronger had we joined forces.”

The
Unity Fiji’s AGM reverberated loudly and clearly with three messages. The first was that the people wanted change but to something better than what we have now. The second was that Unity Fiji has the leadership and experience to take Fiji to where we should be. The third was that Unity Fiji had tried its best to unite opposition parties, and with the elections around the corner, it was now time to move on.

“Therefore, Unity Fiji will contest the
2022 elections on our own. We firmly believe that, with our growing support, we will take our seat at the leadership table in Fiji.”

UP YOURS: Will Rabuka give two fingers to his Indo-Fijian candidates in exchange for Prasad sacrificing his i-Taukei NFP candidates. For under the d'Hondht electoral system, both need all the votes to WIN?
