OLD HABITS DIE HARD: Reddy's "Peeping Tom" Director of Exams, Nasoni MUA, on indefinite  suspension pending  investigations - alleged indecent exposure and showing phonographic photos to two office girls!

* Richard Wah, the chairman of Fiji Higher Education Commission, has been sent home because Education Minister Mahendra Reddy wants to reportedly get  Chandra Dulare, the Adjunct Professor of Economics and an old colleague from FNU, as replacement! Dulare has distanced himself from the claims: "I refer to your story in Fijileaks that Mahendra Reddy wants to get me as Chair of FHEC.  I am amused at the colourful imagination of some people.  Nothing can be further from the truth.  I have not spoken with or have had any correspondence with Mahendra Reddy for a very very long time..."

OR CHANGE HIS PORTFOLIO FROM MINISTER FOR EDUCATION TO MINISTER FOR SEX EDUCATION

From Fijileaks Archive: Despite caution, Reddy had appointed Mua to replace Waqabaca; in 2005 Mua had been removed from Manuweni College for "making a girl climb on the table to wipe the ceiling fan and he was from underneath peeping at her panty"

This sexual deviant Mua fellow getting appointed to high post in Bainimarama government is not uncommon. You don't have to have good character to get appointed in the Bainimarama- Khaiyum set up. Just a good crony. Why do you think rotten characters like Praveen Bala Sala and Ashneel Mortein Sudhakar have been appointed to their positions in the Bai-Kai regime?

Ek Dam Right Baath Bola Samja.

Bainimarama's ParkChor party is full of them: rapists, perverts, murderers, torturers and outright Chors - as if these characteristics - are prerequisite to the 'merit' system of this ParkChor Party.

Saab Ke Saab Sala Chor!

Can someone who knows this Richard Wah fellow tell me whether he was or was not a Bainimarama-Khaiyum regime supporter. That will then tell me whether I should feel sorry for him and his treatment at the hands of. Bainimarama regime minister.

Areh Dekho, why you want to feel sorry?

Sobo sobo...don't feel sorry for these 'masipolo' types.

Absolutely wrong barometer, Mr. Dekho. Whether you should feel sorry must depend on whether he was doing good in his job, not on the subjective criteria of whether he was or was not a bai-kai supporter. If you use the latter, then you will be against the 45% who supported bai-kai to win (the rest of the votes on their tally was rigged votes!).

This ruling Govt. would be absolutely boring if it did not create all these controversy that Fiji has gone through and will continue to be exposed to until its colapse. The House is full of idiots and would-be politicians; not a Statesman or Lady i could see. The best of them all could be the Ministers for Health and Labour if they stoodfast to priciples of good governance whilst the rest left to enjoy their pettiness and ill-gotten gains. This Minister for Education has got to be the most uneducated of those in leadership and the Minister for Many Portfolios needing a few more years to grow up as a kid!! or else ramain a goat or monkey (apologies animals). A message to Reddy, interfering with the HEC under Richard Wah's expert leadership is to destroy the many years taken to build that entity to what it is today - from the Industries HANDS-OFF!!! and take your corrupt practices elsewhere in Naboro where the trucks take the useless (not people but rubbish)

On-Song has lyrics stuck in his throat. One of the most incompetent ministers is Jone Usamate - health minister. No Panadol in health centres, babies dying, filth everywhere in hospital system, the list is long long long, on song. Seems you are a chamcha of Jone U totally blinded by ethnicity. Monster Reddy is a disaster. But Jone U is a greater disaster. Just that we are polite on Native Fijians other than Bai. If we scrutinised Jone with even a fraction of the time we use to scrutinise Monster Reddy, people would call for Jone's head, not only sacking as they are calling for Monster Reddy.

Professor Dulare is an extremely good and knowledgable cademic. He took two of my MBA courses and I can say with certainty that he is one of the best there is in a management role in Fiji. If the news are true, FHEC is headed towards positive revolution. Probably, this change will help enhance reddys reputation as well considering all hooligans that had seems to have appointed.

@Wondering, let me break it down for you in simple English. Professor Dulare took two courses out of fifteen required courses from seven modules in the Executive MBA program. Hopefully, this solves the mystery for you my brother from another mother. Ni sa Moce.

If you don't know the difference between "course" and "programme", you should really go back to husking nuts. Just saying...

Editor,
It makes me very sad to wake up to the news that Harper Lee, the author of To Kill A Mockingbird has died ( Paris live France 24 news 20/02).
Her book deeply influenced my critical thinking.
She drew attention to the injustices in the Deep South.
It taught me never to shy away from doing that.
May she rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Rajend Naidu

One fala name Donald Singh ask a Fiji soccer team coach name Imtiaz Khan to do the honourable thing and step down because he has not provided the expected standard of leadership.( Fiji Times 19 Feb ).
I have not heard him call on wayward Bainimarama government ministers and officials to do the honourable thing and step down.
I wonder why?

Editor,
Right to dissent.
We learn from The Indian Express report ' UK academics sign letter condemning government for JNR row' ( Feb 20 ), that more than 360 scholars and academics from Oxford University, Cambridge University and London School of Economics have signed a letter titled # Stand With JNU which blames and condemns the BJP government for the action against JNU students.
" we condemn the BJP government- sanctioned police action in the JNU campus and the illegal detention of the JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar. We strongly condemn the manner in which political dissent is being stifled, reducing academic spaces to fortresses. We also condemn the widespread witch-hunt of left wing students and student groups that this police action has unleashed. There has been a constant non-observance and disregard of administrative and legal norms as well as a gross infringement of the democratic rights of the student community. These actions are embedded in a deeply chauvinistic cultural nationalism, which espouses a casteist and Brahmanical, homophobic, patriarchal worldview...
It is our democratic right to dissent, disagree, organise and struggle against state, institutions or policies that transgress and suppress democratic and egalitarian values. Expression of dissent cannot and should not be equated with being " anti-national"(or any other such constructed category) and is definitely not punishable under law especially if it is non-violent" the letter said.
Can the Fiji scholars and academics sign a similar letter in solidarity with the university community in India?
Can the student community ( USPSA and others ) organise a march to the Indian Embassy to present a similar letter of condemnation of the BJP government persecution of the student community in India?
Sincerely,
Rajend Naidu
