PAY APARTHEID: Indigenous Fijian Cabinet Ministers were treated as second class coup servants -  while Aiyaz Khaiyum, Dr Neil Sharma and Bainimarama were being paid higher salaries after the 2006 power grab!

'It seems you were not practising what you and Frank Bainimarama had been preaching shortly after the 2006 coup: equality for all but if we examine the salary pecking order, it is clear your i-taukei Cabinet colleagues were being treated as second-class Government Ministers. Even Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, the ultra nationalist and rabid racist, with a wealth of ministerial experience behind him, was being paid less than you and Dr Sharma, despite Kubuabola having served in every
different illegal and legal governments since the 1987 coups...
