FFP President Jioji Konrote on the island of Vanuabalavu in Lau. He is visiting the island and touring devastated areas and meeting with Fijians living there, and who were badly affected by Cyclone Winston.

We don't believe its the case TODAY but history is cruel!

Bainimarama visiting Tokou Village on Ovalau Island to reassure villagers on Government's relief efforts and rehabilitation. He was also on site to oversee the distribution of relief assistance to villagers of Tokou and stressed the importance of working together to rebuild their community. Tokou Village received an outboard fibreglass boat and engine, solar lights and food rations and relief supplies:

FFP are closet racists who are helped by Indians because of SODELPA cannot get their act right.

Only dump politicians will have anti Indian policies under this electoral system. They are no longer a threat to the Fijian supremacy.

The advisory councillors from Ba are absolutely correct. My parents are from Vunisamaloa in Ba and 15 days down the line, there is no ration nor any other help provided to the people. Everyday, we see that tons and tons of relief supplies are sent to vanuabalavu, koro, tailevu and even in bua by government and ngo's. Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki has suffered equally but some have received no ration and those that did get received 250ml oil, 2kg flour, 2kg rice, 1 tin fish, 1kg dhal and 1/2 packet milk. What the I-taukei received are widely shown on TV. 50kg sack full of supplies. If we are all fijians and equal citizens, where is the equality Bainimarama and kaiyum. Past governments did same things but it was widely expected from them as they were very clear that indo-fijians were weeds, beggers, slaves and third class citizens. FF has turned out to be backstabbers and snakes. Info-Fijians need to unite and help themselves rather than giving their contribution to Government and NGO's.

Hume toh apno ne mara gairo me khana dum tha, apni kashti thi dubi waha jaha paani kam tha...in English- indo-Fijians got screwed by other Indo-Fijians. Their ship is sinking in that part of the sea where the water is the shallowest. In short and as jo wrote, indo-Fijians have dug their own grave so death is guaranteed. RIP Indo-Fijians. There is a well recognised thread running through race, politics and disaster aid. The Winston aid distribution bares evidences of that notwithstanding anyone's claim to the contrary. Fiji Indians was and remains second class citizens and that has not changed in the " new " Fiji of Bainimarama where everyone is said to be " equal ". Talk is cheap. Only a small number of Indians who suck up to Bainimarama have been given special standing in his regime to give justification to his claims of a non-racial Fiji. Why do you think young, talented Indians are still taking off overseas? They recognise the lie.

At least one lesson we have all learned in the aftermaths of Cyclone Winston, is that – Khaiyum’s 2013 Constitution of Khaiyum is a FRAUD on Fiji.

Can you not see that the rations are not getting equally distributed to Indians and do you think this on-going cheatings will be repented that Fiji will be BLESSED?

Only when the sin gets to bottleneck that GOD punishes us. When the cry of a hungry victim curses only because the trucks pass their fallen houses to supply food on racial lines except for taking photos at odd places, Jesus lashes his venom onto the sinners.

We saw a smiling Bainimarama on our television last night ( ABC news 4/03 ) appealing for international aid to help the Fijian people in the recovery and rebuilding following the widespread and unprecedented destruction caused by TC Winston.
And again we see a smiling Bainimarama speaking with " foreign envoys during launch of the $US 38.6 million humanitarian emergency appeal in Suva yesterday " ( Fiji Times 5/03 with an accompanying picture).
This is in stark contrast to the Bainimarama we saw after his takeover of the government of Fiji and his bombastic declaration that they didn't give two hoots about the international community and its call for democracy, human rights and the rule of law.
That they were going to do things their own way.
The military strongman has clearly learned a thing or two about politics and international relations during his extended stay in power.

Recall the other military strongman and first coup executioner Sitiveni Rabuka metamorphosed in the same manner before being rejected by his own people, the same people who had treated him as a saviour/ messiah after his coup and rise to power. The rest of course is history and we know history has a way of repeating itself...
