Coming soon: The Minutes of the Rewa Dairy Board Meeting and the Strategic Workshop Output Report on Re-Structure and $0.5m fees!
In her Writ of Claims before the High Court she claims the 2010 AOG Report has brought her and aliz pacific into "hatred, ridicule and contempt and they have suffered damages as a result"; She claims she also lost clients who were interested in using her services but have decided not to invest as a result of the image painted by the 2010 Report. WE SAY - where were you when the whole of Fiji was crying for answers from you? - hiding behind Bainimarama/Khaiyum's DICTATORSHIP for 8 Years! During these years the investors were running to you for you were acting as the 'midwife' for them with the illegal regime!

THAT'S THE NATURE OF THE BEAST: In 2008 her nephew Aiyaz Khaiyum was talking up 'contempt of court' as he attacked VICTOR LAL who had revealed that FIRCA officers had been tasked by Khaiyum to bring down the then Chief Justice Daniel Fatiaki; worst, Khaiyum defended his then co-treasonist, the Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry, only to bring charges against Chaudhry before the September election! Below is his original letter sent (with a demand by Christopher Pryde to then Fiji Sun publisher Russell Hunter) for its publication:

LYING and deceit was the modus operandi of the Bainimarama - Khaiyum dictatorship from the very beginning and it went on to the very end of their 8 year unchallenged hold on power.
If it was not for Fijileaks a lot of the lying and deceit would never have seen the light of day.
Thank you Fijileaks for exposing the lies perpetrated on the people of Fiji by its thug rulers and their cronies.

Bagum Bano, why don’t you also sue us too, for amusing ourselves, laughing at your nephew – Aiyaz- and calling him a ‘pitiable’ Intellectual Property CHOR – on a daily basis.

But that’s beside the point because presently - you are the point!

You, ‘force-lining’ yourself in the affairs of OUR Treasury (and Jeb Bharo) is like you sticking your dirty greedy butt where it didn’t belong – Fiji First party wrote to warn the President (but in Vain), specifically about you, on the 30th of January, 2013 as follows:

“”SIR, …Professor Richard Joseph coined the concept of ‘prebenal politics’ to ‘incisively’ describe the rise and fall of Nigeria’s Second Republic (79/83) in terms of the ‘illegal privatization of public offices and resources’ by ‘elected’ politicians who, he said:

-“felt that their positions entitled them to unbridled access to public resources with which they not only satisfied their own material desires but also serviced the needs or wants of subaltern clients who looked up to the office holders as protective patrons.
This kind of criminal diversion of public resources for self-fish private ends staved the polity of funds for development, increased poverty and inequality and intensified an unhealthy rivalry and competition for public office that triggered pervasive instability – election rigging, violent conflicts and ultimately coups” [“Democracy and Prebenal Politics in Nigeria: the rise and fall of the second Republic, Cambridge University Press, 1987].

A respected Pan-African political economist, Professor Claude Ake, has termed the same phenomena as “the privatization of public space” [http://www.jsd-africa.com/Jsda/Vol14No2].

God forbid incurrence of such corrupt elitist alliances in Fiji and we make no such inferences. However, Sir, it is always prudent to lean on the side of caution –because our country’s Treasury [Ministry of FINANCE], traditionally being the purview of the public domain, is presently (and very opaquely) in the private hands of a Begum Bano."""
(Extract “Fiji First Party – Submissions to the President 30/01/2013).

Now Begum Bano, make our day - and sue us too!

Hatred, Redicule is caused by self distruction when as a professional Accounting Firm, they were failing in their trasparency big time.

By keeping silent on issues raised in public domain, this has been the recipie to self destruction.

No amount of write to sue will change this fact. Or is this a ploy to raise outside court settlement with AG to yet another $.5m in compensation!!!!

Aunty ke munda saathe chor hai.....

Reputation ke maar goli. We want the truth. And this lying lot have not been telling us the truth. Only Fijileaks has been exposing the lies and the deceit and from that we know the truth about what really has been happening in the country under the Bainimarama dictatorship has been hidden from the public.
Aunty Nur is guilty of being party to the hiding of truth from the public. No amount of court action will remove that public perception.

One overseas Indian idiot Abendra Ram Tahal of Sanfrancisco USA is all praise for "the free and fair rule" that Bainimarama has given the country for the past 8 years. this kind of wheeling and dealing that has been revealed by Fijileaks provide one among the many examples of "the free and fair rule" of Bainimarama and his cronies.
What is he doing in San Francisco? He should come and enjoy the free and fair rule in Fiji.

The film The Whistleblower is a must see film for anybody who is against corruption and injustice and human trafficking for the sexual exploitation of women and girls and the torture and abuse they suffer at the hands of their perpetrators and predators.
The film based on true events shows corrupt people can be perched at the very top - in this case in the United Nations organisation.
And it shows that one courageous and decent person can make a solid difference by challenging the status quo. That person in this case is the American police woman Kathryn Bolkovac who exposes the rot in the UN system in Bosnia at considerable cost to herself and her career but is adamant that the truth be revealed. The UN was following the release of the film forced to shut down the relevant operation in Bosnia. The film and the courage of Kathryn is an inspiration to all who fight for what is right.

I do understand Aunty's sentiments. Reputation is important and in this country deeds of the nature Aunty is accoused of does get remembered and with slow openess coming back into the country, more people will get to know and talk abou it.

The court action is meant to mislead the public and with the inclusion of the AG as one of the responding parties. Does it surprise anyone that one of the speakers at the AG's conference will be from the firm of Aunty's lawyers who are fighting for her reputation?

But lets not be too hard on the Aunty. She had built her reputation as a diligent, hardworking and very practical auditor. In the famous rice company auditing in Vanua Levu she went down to the rice bag level in the rice barn, much appreciated by the stakeholders who could catch a glimpse.
