Fijileaks: Shockingly, the same three tyred Coalition government is refusing to repeal the draconian Media Industry Development Act, with NFP's 'Wonder Boy' Richard Naidu admitting that he had an input in the current Draft Media Bill that is up for consultation. He should have had NO part to play in the drafting of the present Media Bill.
*We will be commenting on the Bill later, for our Founding Editor-in-Chief was one of the many victims, with recommendations (The Anthony Report commissioned by the Fiji Human Rights Commission) that our Editor-in-Chief be arrested if,  and when, he returned to Fiji for 'violating FLP leader Mahendra Chaudhry's human rights'. It was in relation to the revelation that the Interim Finance Minister was hiding $2million in Sydney, Australia.
*We have PAP's MANOA KAMIKAMICA as Communications Minister, a man we never heard a word from in defence of MEDIA FREEDOM. In fact, he had left Fiji after the 2006 coup to continue to ply his trade overseas. He returned and rode on the back of Coupist Sitiveni Rabuka into Parliament, and now he and others are sitting in judgment on what is best for the media, the journalists, and the reading Fiji public.
