PARA 72, p12, of the Manual of Cabinet Procedure relating to "Absence from Fiji or from Duty" says that Ministers who wish to be absent from Fiji or to absent themselves from their duties must, before being so absent, obtain permission from the Prime Minister. Application for leave of absence from his/her duties or for permission to leave Fiji should be submitted through the Secreatry to the Cabinet. The application should be accompanied by a recommendation regarding the responsibilities of the Minister’s portfolio during the absence. As a matter of courtesy, Ministers whose absence from Fiji has been approved by the PM should inform the President. The Manual of Cabinet Procedure is similar to General Orders which apply to Civil Servants. Lately, Faiyaz Koya was also missing from Fiji

We wonder if Aiyaz Khaiyum followed due process and recommended to his Prime Minister, if he had sought his prior approval to leave Fiji, as to who should he have in his place? Now he has disclosed his whereabouts, we won't be surprised if Jone Usamate will be named acting Finance Minister

SECRET FLIGHT: Fiji is a very small place to hide secrets. Was the Fiji Airways flight scrambled to Singapore, to accommodate Khaiyum's medical treatment requirement there?

CRUSHED DREAM: SHANIA PRASAD

KHAIYUM: 'I am paying for my medical costs in Singapore". He can't find money so that this student (left) can fulfil her dream of becoming a Fijian doctor and yet he is telling us that he has $60million in funds to buy Covid vaccines when Fiji is Covid FREE

Fijileaks: Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum should pay for the above student and other aspiring students who want to be doctors so that they could treat the likes of HIM and other Fijians of all races in Suva rather than the private Singapore hospital. He claims that FFP is willing to pay for the Covid 19 vaccines even if it costs up to $60 million. If so, cough up that sum to let Shania Prasad fulfil her dream to become a DOCTOR. Since she brought pride to the Vunimoli ISLAMIA College, the Fiji Muslim League should step in and help her with her dream, even though she is a HINDU. The League suddenly has money to pursue Ben Padarath in court over the legitimate question regarding BEARD policy for students.
