"Unlike the others who chose to apply for MBBS as their first choice and other courses as second and third choice. Thus by the time the result came out, second and third choices were full i.e. those students whose first choice was for dental was taken in and this procedure has been practiced all along." - Fijileaks source close to FNU selection process "The Minister also told the teachers that the opposition will always try to defame the new initiatives of the government but they must take ownership and have the passion for delivering these initiatives and ensuring that the quality is not compromised."

Corruption and nepotism was rife at FSM for years. Many who are now doctors should not have even seen the entrance of the Medical School. Dr. Ganesh ended this. He angered a lot of those who were benefitting from this. He was fired. Corruption and nepotism is now all back again. The present Vice Chancellor Mr. Iqbal Jannif has no balls to tackle this cancer.

AJ, you forgot to mention racism which very much dictated the selection process. A prevledged group was recruited with 220 marks and an unprevidlege group needed 350 to qualify for medical training. Is it still the same or things have changed? If the story is to be trusted, it doesn't portray much change that you claim. Or are we back to the dark day post Ganesh chands termination from the animal farm.

CC: i do not know the details. I would be most surprised if there were students with 220 who got admission in MBBS during Dr. Ganesh's term as VC. If you have any information on this, then you should make it public. What we know is that after years, parents had a sigh of relief when Dr. Ganesh became VC and made enrolment transparent. Many deserving students got opportunity to enrol, unlike pre and post Dr. Ganesh. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
