In May, Fijileaks asked the FNU to explain why its Human Resources Department was allegedly giving preference to candidates of one particular faith over other competencies in academic appointments. Read official HR notings, particularly those in red ink on cover letters of two candidates to make sure of yourself. FNU uses this unique qualification for screening, selection and appointment/promotion of candidates. This special qualification surpass decades of experience in tertiary teaching and tens of high quality research publications of other non- Muslim candidates. Candidate No 1 was selected to the post and (mistakenly) perceived to be a Muslim female. Mumtaz Alam, employee no. E4936, was not only recruited, but also promoted to Associate Professor within 7 months of his service at FNU. Who gave special orders for his appointment and rapid promotion?
