Fareed is well aware of the "Weasel", as revealed by
Fijileaks
in January 2015:

AIYAZ Khaiyum INTERFERED with Fiji TV over rugby deal; Nouzab Fareed's e-mails proof of evidence - Khaiyum demanded FHL directors
to sign letter or resign from Fiji TV by 3pm!

From left, Fijian Holdings CEO Nouzab Fareed, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and Fiji Holdings and Fiji TV chairman Iowane Naiveli.

THE Attorney-General (if he deserves the position) Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum publicly stated (LIED) in Parliament that the Opposition was wrong to state that he was interfering with Fiji TV in regards to World Rugby. He laughed and mocked at them. However, his "Boy" Nouzab Fareed's emails, above and below, clearly shows the interference from Khaiyum. This is also notwithstanding that Tanya Waqanika had gone on public record and stated that she and four others (Iowane Naiveli, Fareed, Tevita Gonelevu, and Serai Roxburgh) from Fiji TV were present in the A-G Chambers conference room with Khaiyum, Solicitor-General (Sharvada Sharma) and Acting Senior Legal Officer (Tupou Baravilala) where Khaiyum himself had presented to Fiji TV a ready made letter dated 3rd December which he and his team had prepared for CEO Fiji TV and Chairperson Naiveli to sign.

In Fareed's attached email (dated 5th December), he (Fareed) wanted CEO and Naiveli to sign.  Fareed never wanted to have his signature on anything; unfortunately, Gonelevu refused to sign the 2nd Fiji TV letter dated 5th December. The same letter was emailed from A-G's office by Tupou Baravilala to Fiji TV and Fareed made slight amendments to the letter and had no choice but to sign the letter with Naiveli. Fareed has been playing politics with the Fijian Holdings Limited (FHL) and Fiji TV board members, including the Government as well. He was the very one that sent Gonelevu to World Rugby to Dublin to inform them that Fiji TV did not want to share the IRB 7s series feed; he did something right given that it was in the interest of the shareholders.  He also played A-G as well when he sent Gonelevu to relay his message to World Rugby. Both, Khaiyum and Fareed, have not responded to questions sent by Fijileaks!

Editor,
Feathering Ones Own Nest Under Pretext of Public Service.
Human Services Minister Stuart Robert was forced to resign yesterday after an investigation found he had " acted inconsistently" with ministerial standards.
In August 2014 Robert travelled to China where he attended a signing ceremony involving Nimrod Resources - the company of Paul Marks, a friend and large-scale donor to the Liberal Party. Robert had obtained leave for the private trip. He was photographed grinning broadly at the mining contract signing ceremony.
It emerged during the investigation that Robert had an indirect financial interest in Nimrod Respurces (The Conversation 12 Feb ).
At least this much can be said in Australia's democracy government ministers and public officials are held to account. There is public scrutiny of their conduct to ensure its within prescribed rules.
How many trips have politicians from Fiji been making to China?
Any public scrutiny about them?
Another thing about ex Minister Stuart Robert don't be surprised if he turns up as part of an International Election Monitoring troop when Fiji holds its next election!
Sincerely,
Rajend Naidu

How come in the " new " Fiji of Bainimarama and Khaiyum it is not okay for an Australian accountant to certify the Opposition NFP's books but it's okay for an expatriate Sri Lankan to be president of the local Fiji institute of accountants?
Aren't there local accountants capable of that leadership positions?

Now I understand why Aiyaz Khaiyum got to be chief guest and key note speaker and all that at the Fiji Accountant gangs annual talkfest.
What with his lackey Fareed planted as president of FIA... They think nobody knows their sneaky game to con the Fijian public. They are mistaken. People are bidding their time.

Fareed is the epitome of a brown noser with no scruples, honor, standards or principles who only knows and cares about which side butters his bread. These are the types of people at whose hands entire corrupt systems take hold in countries. From their leaderships positions they bent, twist, flout rules for the benefit of themselves and their companies milking the country dry in cahoots with government, gaining favouriable concessions and subsidies at the expense of the people.

The Stench of Dictatorship in Venezuela
- LAHT 13 Feb,
Ignoring the will of the people and their lawfully elected representatives, some judges without credentials and without independence of judgement, are granting President Nicola's Maduro the broadest possible powers to be used as never before by any ruler in the history of Venezuela to continue deciding on the direction the Republic should go and on the life of the citizens, among which would be more controls..., discretion for more expropriations and violations of constitutional civil rights.
It's a case of giving a blank cheque to Maduro to continue destroying the country with the failed " socialism of the 21st century" .
Given the obvious determination of the National Executive and the Judiciary to ignore that national representation and democracy centre, the international community that until now has been covering its nose not to smell the stench of dictatorship in Venezuela has the floor.
We know from our own experience that the international community is not overly disturbed by the stench of dictatorship even as it makes all the ritual noises about commitment to democracy.

Fareed is another Sri-Lankan import making good in Fiji with fingers in many delicious pies. Self-enrichment, self-centeredness and self-preservation are his three motive forces. He is here today, gone tomorrow – like John Prasad. Fareed is part of the Cabal and works in the interests of the Cabal – like aunty Nur Bano.

Fareed deserves a medal, from the Cabal, for his part in the unprecedented banning of Fiji’s oldest political Party, NFP and the consequent ‘death of our democracy’ in Fiji - but Fareed holds no loyalty to Fiji and cares shit for such sentiments -so long as Fareed’s Patron aunty Nur Bano’s ‘creativie-accountings’ are kept from the scrutiny of Professor Biman Prasad.

No accountant in Fiji, the SOE or even the FIA has pointed to any irregularities in the financial accounts submitted by the NFP to the SOE and to the published Media. That just proves that the NFP accountant is competent and a qualified professional who by his ‘freedom of choice’ is not a ‘satisfied’ member of FIA.

And as far as the requirement of the decree is concerned – the decree is shit. And the democracy –Dead!

Editor,
Politicians Know How To Milk The Country
Chris Smith's letter ' Expenses need probing' ( Canberra Tines 13/02 ) informs us " Alexandra Downer and his guests certainly done high on hog (' Revealed: $2500 bill for decadent Downer dinner',Sunday Times7/02).
However the much more serious aspect to the story is that it reveals outrageous padding of costs by the High Commissioner.
Over decades in DFAT, I was privy to many cases of padding of entertainment expenses by ambassadors...But Mr Downer's reported claim establishes a new benchmark... Obviously the auditor should be sent in post haste to investigate his activities.."
Again this is the beauty of Australian democracy a citizen can openly call for a politician - no matter what his credentials or status - to be investigated and his claims subjected to public scrutiny and proper accountability.
Is that how it is in Bainimarama and Khaiyum's " true democracy" in Fiji?
Sincerely,
Rajend Naidu

Editor,
Doctors Fighting for what's Right.
We read in BBC 13/02 article ' Australian hospital refuses to discharge asylum baby" that protesters have gathered at a hospital to support doctors that have refused to discharge a baby from deportation to an off- shore detention camp in Nauru.
PM Malcolm Turnbull has been called upon " to do the right thing and let the family stay".
Now these are doctors who do not proceed in life with the " I am okay, Jack" outlook.
One can only be proud of such public spirited doctors.
Sincerely,
Rajend Naidu
Ps : this contribution is dedicated to Dr Mukesh Bagat.
