Senior officers fear the humiliating spectacle of Golan soldiers, initially commanded by Qiliho, and recently submissively sitting cross-legged under scorching Arab sun, has emboldened VOTERS NOT TO BE AFRAID of Fijian soldiers who have been propping up the Bainimarama regime for the last EIGHT long oppressive years

Vinaka Victor Lal and Fijileaks.

You kept my faith in journalism alive during the dark days in Fiji - a speck of light - without you we would not have known about how FijiFirst came into exisitence - secretly, how they stole the name from Fiji 1st Party etc

Whatever the result we salute you.

One thing is CERTAIN - you will remain a banned person if this regime wins - of course by rigging - while Mahend enjoys his $2million which you revealed, and FijiFirst party in power - full of, again as you informed us, of thieves, porn surfers, corrupt businessmen etc

Hope you will continue to publish Fijileaks, although we know you stepped in to keep us informed.

We might not have agreed with everything you published but we are grateful you published things which we would have never known

Long live Fijileaks and Victor Lal

God Bless You and Bless Fiji.

Impossible - Statistically, Empirically, Scientifically, Logically, Freely and Fairly - BUT only by RIGGING!

The fact is the FrankFirst Party can ONLY win by RIGGING!

RFMF used to be known around the Middle East wherever they take part in peacekeeping as one of the most disciplined and the fittest out there contesting in many competition wining it.
Now all the RFMF is good at is attacking civilian there own brothers and sisters family.
If you look at it properly that's what this fiji first party is doing turning the Fijians against Fijians not that bainimarama know any about it because all he care about is the money going in his pocket.
He doesn't care about what the future holds

Bainimarama - Khaiyum and their Fiji First Party won the elections fair and square - square peg in a round hole! but the international election observers did not notice that because they had a different brief : just go through the motions of observing so that we can all go back to business as usual with a "democratic" Fiji.

Too late for any army officers to be talking about not standing by and allowing other army officers to conspire with Bainimarama to defraud the voters. With the full back up of the Fiji military Bainimarama has defrauded the people of Fiji for 8 long years and army officers stood by and did nothing. Now the horse has already bolted out of the paddock and some army people are talking about closing the paddock gate!

How the candidates individually were voted is not shown. Perhaps someone can clarify as to who will get into parliament and who will not.

I am sure SODELPA will be a strong, and true opposition (at almost 30 percent) who will not hesitate to bring to light any government misdeeds and corruption.

And please, SODELPA and other opposition parties, also stick to your manifesto of protecting vigorously the rights of the indigenous according to the UN Declaration.

God, at times, allows tyrants and dictators to rule over us as in the Babylonian, Persian and Roman captivity of the people of Israel. But truth will always prevail and will also forever live in the end.

God bless Fiji.

Thank you Tualeita. While it is sad and disappointing that our prediction and warning of a scam of an election, we can only watch what will unfold in the coming days and weeks and months. We can only do our best and allow the Lord to do the rest. He is still sovereign and He alone holds our ultimate destiny in His hands. Blessed be the name of the Lord. May God bless our Fiji islands and Rotuma and Rabi and Kioa.

Let's face it THEY have pulled off their ploy to transition from dictatorship to democracy. The people of Fiji have got the powerholders they deserve. The democratic opposition in Fiji did not play their cards right to get rid of the dictatorship. They have only themselves to blame for Frank Bainimarama and Aiyaz Khaiyum's continued stay in power. They did not speak with one voice and they did not act together as a united democratic opposition to give the people a clear choice. And, to this scenario add all the vote buying Bainimarama was able to do with Government resources and his own men planted everywhere - There Was No Way He Would Have Lost.
Now there is no need for any tension. Don't worry. Be Happy. In Lebanon more people than the whole population of Fiji are living in refugee camps after fleeing the war and conflict and death (including death by chemical bombs dropped on non combatant citizens) and destruction ( of their homes and property) in Syria.

Cheer Up Brothers and Sisters,

We should congratulate ourselves for having clipped the Goliath’s wings by 40%. The new Goliath will be at least 40% more accountable for his actions, in future, for sure. That’s some progress from the total DICTATORSHIP.

The DICTATOR Goliath had the entire might of the State at his disposal. And he (mis)used it thoroughly. The vote-buying was shameless. The public PARKS were promised as PECKS, with the Goliath racking in MILLIONS in DONATIONS. The Goliath had effectively gagged all his critics by appalling Media laws and FINES. The ‘conflicts of Interest’ were so glaringly obvious to ALL except the Goliath. The ugly Goliath spent Millions in ‘facelift’ SPINS from the Qorovis and the NEPOTISM reeking FBC TV and its 6 Radio Stations. The rules of the game became known ONLY when the game had started. The goal posts were often moved. ‘The Goliath had even STOLEN the good old name of David's for this battle.

This Goliath in all dishonor (and quite treasonously, yet again) misused sacred symbols of our National Flag and our national emblem. We were NOT allowed to protest this treachery. This is a FRAUDULENT Misrepresentation of Patriotism when indeed it is a cowardly and a cunning political act.

This Goliath thinks he has WON an election, He may have… but he has NOT WON it by FREE and FAIR means ...And Congratulations to the Goliath!

Cheer Up Brothers and Sisters.

Whatever of Democracy was allowed to us has prevailed. Democracy also brings us our Freedom... to Speak, Criticize and Protest ...peacefully.
