Van aged new allergy testing machine

Good news for people as we now have the first ever Allergy Testing Machine in Fiji and the Pacific region.

The Allergy Testing Machine was brought in by VanMed Labs Director Arveen Chandra.

Chandra says the machine will benefit people in Fiji as it will not only do testing for allergies.

He says the tests and results on the Allergy Testing Machine will now only take four hours.

Speaking during the launch at President’s Plaza in Samabula last night, Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya says the state of the art machine will pave the way for excellence in the health sector.

IT has emerged that Arveen Chandra, one of three principal suspects in the 'Healthgate Scam' involving the regime's former Minister for Health Dr Neil Sharma is first cousin of the Solicitor-General Sharvada Nand Sharma. It is alleged that Chandra was dismissed from his previous workplace for wrongful conduct but Sharma, with his legal connections, allegedly got Chandra back on his feet. Chandra's VanMed business was reportedly struggling and he was moving from Labasa to Lautoka to Suva to set up shop unsuccessfully. It only recently expanded, and as one Fijileaks commentator notes, "readers can now piece together how that was possible". Another of Sharvada Sharma's first cousin is Seema Sharma, Director, Trade at Ministry of Industry and Trade.

I already pointed out that if you are a Bainimarama- Khaiyum arselicker you will not face justice. Your political masters will protect you from that. Facing the law for any wrong doing is mostly reserved for opponents and critics.

We learn from ABC Pacific Beat 3/9 that " New Zealand has suspended aid to Nauru's justice sector in a move that had been anticipated after it's criticism of government actions seen as diminishing the rule of law... " ( NZ suspends aid to Nauru's justice sector citing diminishing rule of law).
And Nauru's president was in Fiji rubbing shoulders with Fiji's erstwhile dictatorial rulers at a development forum set up by them after the coup.
Yes, we have leaders like that - the type who take their country backwards at home then attend development forums abroad!

My comments to an earlier posting apply here as well: This man set up a first class medical lab in Fiji. And we all patients, irrespective of race or colour, benefit from this. Many lives have been saved. Such contribution deserves a state medal. But for Victor Lals, even this is not good enough. Like for Kamlesh Prakash. see my comments on the previous posting by Victor Lal.
Anti-Indian bashing by supposedly former Fiji Indians. You guys are a joke. I know Kamlesh. He is just as decent as any decent person in Fiji can be. I know that technical training is at all time high in Fiji; all my friends in the FEF are pleased with the changes Kamlesh brought about. The only ones displeased are those sacked or sidelined for stealing, taking bribes, selling certificates, picking double pays, taking cuts from suppliers, etc. Alas most of these are, shamefully for me, my brethren. Former Fiji Indians should learn to accept that there are good and capable Indians in Fiji, just as there are capable Fijians and capable whites in UK.

Tomasi, the posts on fijileaks is not against Any race or party. Victor is bringing the truth about individuals who hide behind the mask of good Fiji citizens.
Look outside the box and you will see the reason and benefits of appointments to certain elites.

Kamlesh Prakash should be facing the drums of law but he is being awarded safe heaven just like the ex Military boss.

Where is the transparency?

@yash, how exactly did you conclude that whatever was said about Kamlesh is truth? Your version of truth seems to be what you want to believe. The reality is very different. The propaganda against Indo-Fijians is nothing new. The only difference is that previously it was done by other races, now it is our own people motivated by personal agendas. Here's hoping against all hope that the evil intentions of those hell-bent of marginalising the Indo-Fijian community doesn't succeed.

@tomasi, I can very well describe the fate of Indo-Fijians through this very common phrase-"when Indo-Fijians have friends like Victor Lal, who needs enemies". In his delusional world and those of his masters, Indo-Fijians are responsible for all the problems in Fiji as other races are all saints. Wasn't this the same philosophy that was used by coup perpetrators that Victor once revolted against. Seems like Victor and Co feel rewarding to swim with his brothers from coupfourpoint five dynasty. Good luck to him and his newfound purpose of life.

I do not know if you are one and the same person but let me tell you. Our stories have nothing to do with RACE but DISGRACE.

What you two are saying is that we should close ranks as a race and let our Indo-Fijian thieves, coupists, wife beaters to enjoy the new found powers under Bainimarama's guns.

That will never happen. We have also attacked native Fijians and other non-Fijians from all parties, and will continue to do so. If you do not like Fijileaks go elsewhere - there are many pro-Khaiyum and Bainimarama newspapers and other social media

The answer to your first question is No. Tomasi Koroi and I' m two different individuals with no relation to each other. You can very easily verify this with our IP addresses and e-mall contacts.

Secondly, I'm not asking you to turn a blind eye to coupists, wife beaters and thieves as you proclaim. What I fail to grasp is why are your site targeting Indo-Fijian appointments? As soon as an Indo-Fijian is earmarked for appointment in a key government posts, fijileaks come up with all guns blazing trying to discredit the person without doing any actual background checks on him/her. You have bluntly attacked a very capable person in Kamlesh on the basis of unsubstiantiated claims by one individual who clearly has an agenda. You are also using Kamlesh's relation to Ganesh Chand to discredit him. You seem to be giving positive coverge to known coupists like Naiqama but take offence if any Indo-Fijian supports an elected government. What do you expect all Indo-Fijians to do-resign from government positions because it is run by bainimarama and kaiyum. What will that achieve?

Like you have worked in Fiji Sun and know how they operate, I have spend a great deal of my life in Fiji Times during the netani rika/Fred Wesley era and I can say this with absolute guarantee that they are not neutral and fair as you and some others make them look like. They also have a hidden face that is only seen by those that have gone through the system. Use your investigative skills and go through some of the cases lodged against Fiji Times in the employment relations tribunal.

Having been a regular reader of Fiji Leaks, I don't think Victor Lal targets only Indo-Fijians. But I do realize that many allegations need to be fact-checked first before I will believe them and that there are those of every ethnicity whose only reasons for abusing authority and the trust of the people are selfish greed for power, fame and money.

We have our leaders and politicians who have been doing that as revealed by Fijileaks .
But today we have a more illustrious example. We have a man who was one day the President of his country and the next day behind bars as a prisoner in his country for corruption. This is story of the Guatemalan President reported just a while ago on Aljazeera news 4/9.
It is not uncommon to have corruption at the highest level of government.
This letter is dedicated to one Donald Singh who seem to think government officials and politicians in power are infallible!
