USPGATE: Another toady and former Electoral Commissioner, Professor Vijay Naidu, has his contract at USP renewed for just SIX MONTHS - VC Rajesh Chandra's tactic to keep
"the old academic dogs, with nowhere to go, in line"
FFPGATE: The self-confessed "Mashoor Goonda Boy" to become chairman of Public Accounts Committee - Professor Biman Prasad to be replaced by Ashneel Sudhakar when the Committee meets on Friday; Aiyaz Khaiyum has directed the Government MPs to vote out Prasad and appoint 'Mr Mortein Sudhakar'; there is also speculation Aseri Radrodro could be lured to takeover but PAC is now toothless, given the change Khaiyum legislated, which restricts it work considerably!
CHOPPED UP: Who says Social Media is a destructive force? A posting was sent to us which we forwarded to Fiji Police but as usual, they did not respond to us. We were asked to contact the POLICE so they could follow it up. "Ram ram bhai check this oy[u]t muslim boy has chopped the fijian girl into pieces in Ba, Mr Dayal Street, till now media is silent . Later the boy tried to pack all the pieces into a carton and burn her body pieces but the boy got burn and went to the hospital"
