In 2008, after a year long investigation, I was ready to reveal the visa scam involving Chinese prostitutes who had come on student visas into Fiji, had enrolled in a few units at the Fiji National University, and had later disappeared into the world of crime and prostitution. I was also ready to reveal the identities of top policemen, politicians, and bureaucrats who were providing protection to these "Ladies of the Night". Hopefully, we will be able to retrieve the original investigation and publish the details in Fijileaks. I believe the haste with which the recent group of Chinese were whisked out of Fiji was to cover the tracks of LOCALS who might have been party to the alleged crimes.

As a keen follower of Fiji politics I have absolutely no doubt that Fijileaks is spot on in its observation that " the haste with which the recent group of Chinese were whisked out of Fiji was to cover up the tracks of LOCALS who might have been party to the alleged crimes".
And the locals in question were no ordinary folks but political heavy weights and well connected business wallahs.

'Disregarding their duty': a trifle mild when 'Gross dereliction of Duty'which they swore on oath to uphold seems appropriate? Police Officers in Fiji are mandated to protect not only Fijian Citizens but also residents and every law-abiding person on Fiji soil. They are especially obligated to receive and record legitimate and bona fide complaints of malfeasance from the public. Over many years since 2000 this function of the Fiji Police has been often unreliable at best and entirely absent at worst. Overseas citizens in circumstances of extreme need after violent assaults following home invasions or sexual molestation and rape have had no recourse but have eventually sought help elsewhere.
Notwithstanding this, there are many conscientious Police Officers,men and women, who have striven to give their best efforts in a climate which was often hostile towards this. A Police Force is only as reputable,regrettably, as its least able member. A Culture of Excellence must prevail across all ranks, all Divisions, and no exceptions should be tolerated. Nadi Police who allegedly mounted daytime roadblocks adjacent to Denarau to detain female visitors and overseas residents to threaten them with arrest unless they drove them to the nearest ATM machine in 2012/2013 are a disgrace to their uniforms and had their victims dared to make official complaints, they merited summary dismissal. Thus the reputation of Fiji Police is damaged and a Climate of Fear is instilled. Senior Officers were repeatedly advised of this circumstance. It received no obvious or immediate address.

One balaclava was borrowed from Fiji's ambassador to China which he was wearing doing the coup with the racist Rambo in 1987.

Actually I commend China for acting responsibly and taking ownership of the illegal actions of its citizens abroad. It would of cost millions upon millions of Fiji dollars to carry out an investigation by our Police, gather evidence, arrest and detain the suspects, take them to trial and then house them in our jails. We don't have resources for this. But don't let us miss the core problem which is Fiji's open door policy with China. Meths manufactured by illegal Chinese sweat shops in Fiji is now sweeping through and frying the brains of our youth. Prostitution operated from massage parlours are common in Suva and Nadi,
These illegal goings on have occurred through the support of top civil servants and Fiji First politicians. The obvious starting place to look is the Despsrynent of Immigration and the FTIB. So the Ministers responsible Khaiyim and Koya should be put under the spotlight.

Fact or Fiction. Does Fijileaks editor know the difference. I wrote earlier about your sensationalism of gossip and idle rumours. You have provided us with your idle oneliners of Flash stories, promising us "to watch the space". But you have never come up with evidence behind your Flash News except to malign reputable individe also by rolling them in your dirt. What have you ever done for your country? Where are your follow-up stories of FNUgate, USPgate, Ganesh Chand, Rajesh Chandra, Francis Kean gate, Pravin Bala taken into custody, Robin gate, Khaiyum's false statement about assets, Sudakargate and now "the chinese ladies of the night ". You are maligning a whole race. No wonder Fiji Sun is not proud to call you one of their own. You are Forgotten. Again, what have you done for your country? Pls tell us whether it is a fact or Fiction that you are in the payroll of Qorvis!

Fiji is walking back quickly into an era of kings. The current princes and princesses of Fiji, courtesy of the Baiyum dictatorship, will never be able to hold the public titles of kings and queens. However, all they want is absolute power and control, with the three P's, namely, Perks, Privlieges and Perpetuity.

The truth stares at us in the face every single day. It dares us to challenge it. But what is the truth?

They have planned episodes for public drama to confuse, convince, mesmerize, numb and dumb the people. This rich mix of public personas and profiles is designed by QORVIS and others for one reason only: REMAIN IN POWER AFTER THE ELECTION.

However, they do not control everything, even if they foolishly think that they can control the minds of people. They will control the election, because they know that more and more people have found them out for what they really are: thugs, dictators, emperors, robbers and murderers. The future does not belong to them, because time always reveals the truth, no matter how deep they have buried their secrets. We shall see more of these being shouted from the rooftops, through, radio, TV, mobile devices, and cyberspace.

What secrets does the Baiyum regime hide in their deepest bunkers? Interesting indeed. Chinese loans and strings attached? Muslim power domains? Greedy Fijian merchants and the BaiYum bank accounts? CRW murders and satanic rituals? Buckle up Fiji. The ride is about to get more bumpy, interesting and heart-throbbing for some. We aint seen anything yet.

Victor, as you put it, "The Chinese Disappeared" can be adequately explained by a similar "The Truth Disappeared".

Many people do not realise the absolute importance of morality and ethics in our society. They represent the fundamentals for a just, peaceful, vibrant, healthy and productive life. When you begin to trample or distort or hide the truth, you are actually undermining the very basis of a just and peaceful society. Among other things, our laws only serve to protect and uphold the truth, and by so doing, they prop up the system of justice we wish to have.

As many know well, the first casualty of war is the truth. Dictatorships know that the truth is their number one enemy. So they will strategise to dictate the ' truth ' and thereby manipulate and control the public perception so that they will see things the way the dictators want them to. This is basically why QORVIS has been part of the Baiyum dictatorship since day one. This is why there is severe control on press freedom. etc etc

The Chinese must disappear in the manner they did because the truth must never be known. If the people of Fiji gets to know the real situation about how the Chinese came and what they were doing, they will ask more questions about other deals and secret transactions and loans and promises and visits and holidays,and Teleni, and Voreqe and ... .. that have been happening since that fateful day in December 2006.

We must act to have the truth known about the issues that really matter. Who wins the Deans trophy is of very little consequence to the socio-economic life of Fiji, but the press is allowed to cover as many sports and 'non-matter' news every week. But when it comes to "How much did Nur Bano Ali pay the ministers during the illegal military regime must not be known. Or what really happened in the 2000 coup? Why must the Baiyum regime not allow Dr Biman Prasad to continue with the chairmanship of PAC ?

There are events happening everyday. Most are insignificant as far as our national life and destiny go. But these must become the news and the truths the Baiyum regime wants us to know. The 20 % of the news that we must know about because they are absolutely important to our lives are shrouded in secrecy, kept in the "MUST NEVER REVEAL" category by the dictators.

We can only have a free society if we allow truth to prosper and grow. For it is the truth that sets us free. Nothing else is as important as that. Let us stand up always for the truth, for without which, there will be nothing to stand on.
