THE CORRECT HEADLINE: FijiFIRST Party WINS 2022 election but fails to secure majority to govern on its own, so political horse-trading begins to form next Government. Neither Rabuka nor Prasad won the ELECTION

22/12/2022

CONSTITUTIONAL ILLEGALITY: OPPOSTION PARTIES TRYING TO SNATCH POWER WITHOUT GIVING FFP THE OPPORTUNITY TO PROVE IT HAS THE REQUIRED NUMBERS TO FORM THE NEXT GOVERNMENT.
*Constitutionally, and by convention, its the FFP which has the right to form a government, provided it secures the votes of any of the three parties that are lying in second, third and fourth places:  PAP, NFP, and SODELPA.
*PAP-NFP must REVEAL to their respective supporters and to Fiji what deal the two leaders have struck to form a coalition government. And, if the two have conceded to all the demands made by SODELPA.
*The NFP and Biman Prasad are hiding their girmit deal from us

*TOTAL SEATS.

FFP: 26. PAP: 21. NFP: 5. and SODELPA: 3

*TOTAL LEADER VOTES:
Frank Bainimarama:
136,829.
Sitiveni Rabuka:
77,748.
Biman Prasad: 11,355. Viliame Govaka: 3,793

*PARTY VOTES:
FFP: 200,246. PAP: 168,581. NFP: 41,830 and SODELPA: 24, 172.

*MANOA KAMIKAMICA'S STATISTICAL CLAIMS:
It is wrong for PAP's Kamikamica to claim that 58 per cent of the voters rejected FFP. On paper, it may have a ring of truth,
but 13,100 *Unity Fiji voters, 12,704 *FLP voters, 6,070 *We Unite Fiji Party voters, 2,638 *All Peoples Party voters, and 964 *New General Party voters wanted their parties, their leaders, and their candidates to win and enter Parliament. They did NOT VOTE for FFP nor did they VOTE for PAP, NFP and SODELPA. They voted for their parties.

*PAP and NFP had merely signed an MOU (a loose girmit pact) but fought the election as two separate political parties.
*Now, they are SELLING the LIE to their supporters, to the Fijians, and to the outside world, that they WON the general election.
*Even SODELPA did not win but now finds itself in the invidious position to decide which party it will support to form the next government
*Constitutionally, and by convention, its the FFP which has the right to form a government, provided it secures the votes of any of the three parties that are lying in second, third and fourth places:  PAP, NFP, and SODELPA.
*If FFP fails, then, and then only, the Opposition parties should be invited to prove that they have the numbers to form a coalition government.
*Again, the PRESIDENT does not have to accept it.
*And after taking into consideration the various factors like national security, the in-fighting within SODELPA recently, a very vague coalition deal between PAP and NFP, and PAP's acceptance of SODELPA's demand to review or revoke the 2013 Constitution (which means removing the RFMF's current role under Section 131 (2), he could call on the FFP to form a MINORITY GOVERNMENT until Fiji is ready for another general election (precedent: April 1977 election Alliance-NFP crisis)
*The FFP supporters have every right to feel CHEATED if PAP, NFP, and SODELPA cut a deal to form a coalition government without allowing FFP to demonstrate that it has the numbers and support to form government
*And, we have to accept the RFMF on the streets of Fiji as they are required to under Section 131(2) of the 2013 Constitution of Fiji.
*Under the new PAP-NFP-SODELPA deal of 17 December 2022, the three AMIGOS will revoke the Constitution meaning Section 131(2)
*So, we recommend the Opposition parties and their supporters to save their Xmas CRACKERS, until the NEW YEAR.

14 MAY 1987:
"In the national interest that I carry out the events of this morning.
TAKEOVER OF THE GOVERNMENT."
