"Revelations from Lomanikoro, Rewa confirms that the Leader of the Opposition wants to make Adi Koila Mara Nailatikau to be Party Leader and be the Prime Minister in 2018. Adi Koila Mara Nailatikau has shown support for the SODELPA dinner fundraising by giving a discount to SODELPA for the hire of the hall at Studio Six and the discounted amount was said to be her contribution, a sum of $900. If this is the ultimate plan to make Adi Koila Mara Nailatikau, Prime Minister than the Leader of the Opposition wants her niece to nominate her to be President of Fiji. The Leader of the Opposition’s inner circle, Whip-Ratu Isoa Tikoca (MP), Laufitu Malani and Mick Beddoes are all known opportunists and with the sponsorship of Adi Koila Mara Nailatikau these individuals just want to use SODELPA to paddle their political ambitions however, they truly do not have any conviction for the indigenous cause."

Fijileaks:
We are waiting for a comment from the President's Office

Naidu - in line of fire!
"It is unfortunate to state that the appointment of Richard Naidu as the Opposition’s nominee was the decision of the Leader of the Opposition alone and did not reflect any consensus with the caucus or the party. She pushed her way through to get her choice despite members of the caucus suggesting other nominees...In the recent resignation and the appointment of the new RFMF Commander, the Opposition Office acted without the direction, knowledge and permission of the party by publically saying in the media that the acting appointment of Viliame Naupoto as new Commander was ‘in order’ because it was procedurally agreed at the Constitution Commission. The Leader of the Opposition and her nominee Richard Naidu made a blanket undertaking that the Chairperson is allowed to make interim three months appointments. The President [Ratu Naiqama] had expressed his disappointment and questioned the Leader of the Opposition in a written letter on 3 August 2015 on the validity of the position of the Opposition Office taken especially one done without his understanding, without consultation as to the position of the party."

"Without the consultation of the caucus and the management board of the party she announced that the leader of the National Federation Party [Biman Prasad] is the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee. The Leader of the Opposition gave away a key position of every opposition majority party that will give the National Federation Party (NFP) mileage for the 2018 elections. The conspiracy was later revealed to be created by Laufitu Malani and Eci Kikau of the NFP. This is a serious breach of the party constitution."

"After the decree for the allocation of $15,000 per Member of Parliament was gazetted, the Leader of the Opposition with Laufitu Malani and Mick Beddoes intercepted the letter by the Secretary-General of Parliament addressed to the General-Secretary of the Party, Pio Tabaiwalu. Laufitu Malani and Mick Beddoes than advised the Leader of the Opposition with the Whip - Ratu Isoa Tikoca (MP) to instruct the Secretary-General of Parliament that a government cheque (grant) of $225,000 be written to SODELPA Opposition Office. A minute of a meeting was done without a caucus meeting and signatories were appointed without the knowledge of the rest of the caucus to open a bank account at ANZ Bank...The 10 Staffs at the Opposition Office are paid salaries ranging from $45,000 to $9,000. Mick Beddoes sits at a salary of $45,000 and Laufitu Malani who was said to be a volunteer is earning a salary of $36,000. All these appointments, salary scales and job description was made without the consultation of the caucus and the party...It is no doubt that the Leader of the Opposition intentionally undermines the party and the caucus by making her own decisions from the advice of her inner circle which includes Opposition Whip-Ratu Isoa Tikoca (MP), Laufitu Malani and Mick Beddoes..."

"The Leader of the Opposition and her personal advisor, Laufitu Malani has been plotting against the Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu (MP) because he is seen to be a threat to their administration. They have used Viliame Gavoka (MP) to communicate to the AG. After Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu (MP) was suspended the opposition caucus agreed to boycott the next day’s sitting, the Leader of the Opposition insisted that she alone to attend the meeting. The caucus was able to overcome her insistence that she wanted to be seen as working with government and not opposing them all the time like previous boycotts and walkouts. Later, information from the government members of parliament confirmed they were briefed on the developments at the Opposition Conference Room through text messages sent from the Leader of the Opposition to the Attorney-General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum. She had been playing a mole role seeking assistance from the government motion to suspend considering the Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu (MP) is a threat to her leadership, especially his presence in debates always shows that Tui Cakau is well informed in matters before the floor...At the party AGM in Suva two weeks later, Laufitu Malani and the Leader of the Opposition lobbied with the Nasinu Constituency to nominate Anare Jale to run for President with intentions to defeat Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu (MP) on the floor...It is interesting why the Leader of the Opposition is so close to Laufitu Malani given that she was a Minister in Bainiamarama’s illegal government and Mick Beddoes who was also a member of the People’s Charter for Change and Progress working committee that engineered the mainstreaming on indigenous Fijians by abolishing the Great Council of Chiefs."

On the other hand, Whip-Ratu Isoa Tikoca (MP) a fall out from Bainimarama’s administration being Ambassador to PNG and the master mind of the iTaukei Foundation established at the Bosevanua in Bau to sign a memorandum with the government under the United Nations Declaration for the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) with intention to undermine the Yanuca Resolutions. The Yanuca letter was endorsed by the Vitivou Forum Inc. and the Fiji Native Tribe Congress to prove to the ILO Convention 169 Committee of Experts that the argument by the Bainimarama government that majority of indigenous Fijians had accepted the reforms directed to remove their group rights through the adoption of the People’s Charter is not true, indigenous peoples were not consulted of the imposed changes. Both indigenous groups are co-chaired by the Leader of the Opposition and Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu (MP) with many heads of chiefly domes in Kubuna, Burebasaga and Tovata Confederacies. Opposition Whip-Ratu Isoa Tikoca (MP) after he was sacked and his passport held until he fully settled the money he used for his son’s tuition fees who was studying in Australia, presented his iTaukei Foundation concept to negotiate on behalf of Tailevu province to the Government, but failed to convince Bainimarama. He brought his concept to SODELPA and was allowed to present it the party headquarters trying to convince the party with Bainimarama’s abusive emails. It was only in January, 2014 that Ratu Isoa Tikoca (MP) entered the SODELPA movement - Reclaiming Fiji. How can these individuals be trusted and given very key decision making positions at the Opposition Office? -

Fijileaks: Sakiusa Raivoce has strenuously denied the allegations made against him in 'The Gaunavinaka Report'

The government cheque was deposited on 20/03/2015 at the ANZ Bank into account name SODELPA Opposition with Account no. 12258786. This account had a negative balance of $5,163.69 before the deposit was made on the 20/03/2015 the balance was $219,836.21 credit. On 27/03/2015 a sum of $150,000 was transferred as a term deposit to Account no. 12267701. Public funds basically cannot be invested because at the end of the financial year it is returned to Ministry of Finance. On 21/07/2015 the Leader of the Opposition decided to break the term deposit by transferring a sum of $30,000 from Term Deposit Account no. 12267701 to operating account no. 1225786 to all a cash withdrawal of $2,500 on 21/07/2015 and two withdrawals of $4,129.46 and $294.50 on 22/07/2015. -

AS USUAL

As usual, this latest revelation proves that SODELPA is a party in crisis, raptured, disorganised and thoroughly useless to the very people who voted the losers in.

they don't have any strategy to be an effective opposition but are sitting in there as lame duck village idiots with only one objective - to milk the system in terms of whatever money they can get for themselves at the taxpayers expense.

no wonder bai-kai are having a field day - bai being overseas most of the time and kai lining his own pocket due to a lame duck opposition.

Interesting.

In their zeal to bash Sodelpa, Fiji Sun is yet to highlight the most serious allegation levelled against the First Lady, Adi Koila Mara Nailatikau - there you go!

This latest revelation yet again (i've lost actual count!!) demonstrates Victor Lal's investigative prowess which no journalist in Fiji can and will ever be able to match for some long time. As for Fiji Sun, one can only have a golden wish - please enrol with Victor Lal and learn some real and hard core investigative journalism or shut down the garbage for once and for all.

I agree a full 100 per cent. Victor Lal and Fijileaks is a class act on investigative journalism and alerting the people of Fiji, both at home and abroad, on what shits happening in Fiji - which the gang in government and their propaganda paper Fiji Sun try to hide from the public.
Keep your good work going Fijileaks because honest man and woman who love Fiji appreciate what you are doing for the good of the country.

AS USUAL, is quite correct, SODELPA is a party in crisis and has been so since the election results were announced. They know they are in crisis and need to take desperate measures to turn things around, which is unlikely to happen due the level of infighting. Fiji First is also in crisis of a different type, the Master Manipulator needs to be accompanied by a minimum of 6 SIX bodyguards whenever he attends a function.. ( does anyone remember Babu, Ratu Mara’s only bodyguard for so many years , also no sirens and flashing car lights to show how important the car passenger was) and now we have an Attorney General requiring a squad of guards to protect him… Then there are the rumours , possibly fueled by the unaccounted for hundreds of millions of tax payers’ money , that a certain Fiji family has set up a Trust Fund of millions of dollars in Australia to purchase multi million dollar Sydney properties. If true, who are the beneficiaries, could our erstwhile leader be one of them ?, is this the reason he has passed his power to the Master Manipulator, if so they have a crisis just around the corner.
So in a little over two year’s time, the people of Fiji are going to be faced with a choice of corruption, greed and fear, or incompetence and lack of vision.. Not very attractive choices.
In all probability we will see two or three new parties, which will of course cause more chaos.

Leadership crisis, corruption & greed crisis, overseas secret investment crisis, Minister with a security crisis, Minister with death-charge crisis, Fiji Sun no-good reporting crisis, Whitehouse-SODELPA crisis, Fiji First flag crisis, Sedition crisis and the Hibiscus weather crisis. This definitely is the modern Fiji crisis as promised to the Nation. 'Cry' my beloved country!!!

e dua na taro. Is Richard Naidu a capable and competent person to be nominated for that post?
What seems to be the problem - his race ? If that is the case then clearly there are elements within the shit named party that render the party unfit to address the needs of the Fijian people in contemporary Fiji.
I said at the time of the phoney election arranged by the dictator that the only way to topple him from power was for a grand coalition of all pro- democracy parties to present a united alternative front to the people.
That of course did not happen. Now there are factions within the Opposition party ranks!
What a useless lot!

What makes Naiqama a more suitable candidate to lead SODELPA? He is foul mouth, not liked by anyone outside his confederacy and a boozer and womaniser. These so called unhappy bunch are so blinded by racism that they are taking the party to its grave. Naiqama should go back to his CMV. Kepa is and should remain leader of SODELPA. The opportunities should either suck up or get out starting with bulitavu this Friday and followed by Naiqama, radrodros, Karavaki and kiliraki and anyone else supporting this racists group.

The so called report is nothing more than an opinion, well orchestrated by people with vested interest or an axe to grind. There is no substance to the allegations regarding the first lady, Gavoka communicating with the AG, and the conspiracy against the Tui Cakau.

By the way; who is Gaunavinaka? and who tasked him to compile the report?

As for Bulitavo, he is facing criminal charge, his days are numbered and he be playing a double game for survival.

The so called nominees being questioned are nominees of the leader of the opposition and they are NOT the nominees of the party in opposition.

The report is a useless piece of work designed to achieve disunity...that's why they keep running to the Fiji Sun instead of dealing with the matter internally, with due process. Bulitavo may have short himself in the foot and his political career is almost over barely a year after it started due to his own foolishness.

Well, ... doesn't the "Gaunavinaka Report" read like a KGB report?

Whilst the bai/kai intel spies on the opposition as a whole - the opposition in turn has a spy unit of its' own, to spy on its' own.

It seems that half of the Sods are sleeping with the Fiji Theft Party already -and the other half displaying their ugly racist fangs.

What is also an interesting revelation is (oouch...!) the bye, bye of Madam Shameem's Presidency prospects. Pity!

SODELPA is already in trouble here due to internal problems and differences among its members, which could definitely worsen if they don't get their act together asap.

SODELPA is fast exposing itself as a racially-based Party with the norms of internal strife, discontent and in-fighting. It will be hard to even contemplate such a party leading Govt. and certainly not one with an overdose of village mentality. I am from the village too, but have enough brains to know that Fiji needs a brand new Leadership that is not yet in place - both Houses of Parliament stink!! Gutter politics must stop and let this Nation breathe easy please
