Mereoni (Oni) Kirwin's local contact in Fiji was Adi Litia Qionibaravi, who had organised meetings and accompanied her to those meetings.

According to highly reliable sources in the 'rebel group', Adi Litia is trying to avoid arrest, while those that blindly followed her and Oni have been arrested and charged for sedition and are currently remanded in custody in prisons.

Adi Litia should, they demand, be  flushed out from wherever she is hiding, and face the same consequences.

Adi Litia is also behind that SODELPA statement issued by Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu that asked for a symposium with Voreqe Bainimarama to discus  indigenous issues, and for the release of the 70 plus people that have been arrested and charged for sedition, the sources claim.

She is, the sources say,  cunningly using other people to try and save the people that she misled and are now facing serious charges and possible imprisonment for a very long time. Adi Qionibaravi hails from Ucunivanua in Verata, Tailevu Province.

Victor you are a brilliant journalist. Noone can dispute that fact and a highly educated one at that. This piece on Adi Litia is not factual and I believe you know know it or will find out if only you dug hard enough!! She is not the one that went consistently to meet with the rebels either in Ra or Nadroga. Adi Laufitu did and both Ro Teimumu and Adi Laufitu Malani gave money in the initial meetings to fund the costs of this Christian State movement!

Trying to tarnish Adi Litia's name will do them no good. She is not the one that signed the documents brought by Urwin. Ro Teimumu, Ratu Apenisa Cakobau, Ratu Suliano Matanitobua and the likes of Ratu Sela Nanovo did! Fingering Adi Litia Q is a sad and cowardly attempt to move the focus of investigations away from themselves! Well interesting times indeed ahead.

Why not?

Whatever Ro Teimum et al do is normal, irrelevant of any offense. Adi Litia has every right to say or paricipate in any political events just like everybody else in this God forsaken country.

Too bad people cannot protest current government and have to resort to hide and seek.

At least the people of Tavua have got guts to stand up against the current corrupt band of thieves.

Irrespective of intentions, standing up for your rights and your country is courageous...

shame on the military for making $500+ per person allowance per day and using guns to fill their own pocket...

Instead of finger pointing and wild allegations, the Government especially Bainimarama, the RFMF and all Fijian Parliamentarians must 1st ask themselves a few questions:
1.What is the reason that the people of Ra & Nadroga(part of) are doing this.
2.Look at History and have the past Governments failed to see real i Taukei sovereignty issues?
3.Did the Colonial Govt with Rt Mara & his team to London post independent ensure that this issue does not come up in the designed Constitution that enabled 2/3 majority in Parliament to change Laws which was difficult and now the new constitution making it impossible for i Taukei to claim sovereignty.
3.Can the Government return the ownership back to kai Viti,Minerals,Air Space rights,I Qoliqoli Rights??????

If the Government does this without any fear that Kai Viti will be in a position to have Economic Power, then all the Loans will be repaid and the Kai Viti who do care for others will share their wealth.

Not the Elites Bainimarama is creating and those businessman who control the economy.

Bainimarama,do not let them control you forever...come out from your trip and think as a Kaiviti

If not,you will be taken out by God

Fiji First Party

In even less than a year since the “glorious” victory of Fiji Theft Party into government, it has resorted to deploying its army (in full combat gear) to quench a so called Christian rebel movement. This speaks volumes about the ‘glorious’ elections and as well as the general popularity of the Theft party.

Any government which starts charging its own citizens with ‘sedition’ needs some cool soul- searching as to the contributing factors which leads to these very unfortunate and tragic situations. Some 70 People are held in custody according to this story.

And then there is that interesting case of that disgruntled naturalized Shri Lankan Fijian who conspired with the present clown MP Bulitavu, of the Sod Party to do some amusing anti-dictator graffiti. And if amused (above) is to be believed –then half of the Sod Party too, will soon be arrested for Sedition.

Against this unfolding military deployment, happens a ‘black-day’ in Fiji’s Parliament, exposing a serious Constitutional nuisance of the 2013 Khaiyum’s Constitution, which empowers the Speaker to hold secret ‘blackout sessions’ - thus making a mockery of the fundamental democratic principle of transparency.

Off-course, the existence of this seedy clause in Khaiyum’s Constitution is well known to its author, Khaiyum, who arrogantly and ruthlessly invokes it – bringing shame to democracy – and as well as SHAME to Khaiyum’s notorious FRAUD 2013 Constitution.

We wonder how many more of similar sinister clauses remains embedded hidden in this Khaiyum’s FRAUD 2013 Constitution - only to surprise us in the future.

And alas, for crying out loud, why can’t the bloody military just arrest Khaiyum???

Between a rock and a hard place, that is where we are at the moment, we have a Finance Minister/Constitution Author (A failure in both fields ) who has lead the Prime Minister and the Nation by the nose to a point of crisis.
We do not need or want an uprising, we do not need another Qarase administration, we do not want, nor can we afford another coup, but the lunacy in government needs to stop.
This is not what was promised, this is not democracy in any way manner or form, it is mismanagement of a nation for the benefit of a few.
That is not to say that the opposition would be any better, in fact they could well be worse given their present performance.
As for the military arresting Khaiyum, that will never happen because he controls the Prime Minister and the Prime Minister controls the army so in reality Khaiyum controls the army.
The best we can hope for is the next generation, who will be burdened with the financial responsibilities of repaying all the debts incurred by Khaiyum’s mismanagement, will form a party of young intelligentsia that will oust the current government at the next elections. This may well be a futile hope.

A futile hope indeed. Opposition will be outvoted as to how the vote count takes place and central phone line to where the count will be given before it is intercepted and changed and then transmitted to Count Head Office and UN observers will say we have had yet another free and fair elections...!!!

Current debts are bringing old days back... Kana Nikua Gai Raida Mataka....Syndrome. Once Khaiyum gets through 2nd elections corruptly, by then laws will have been well entrenched.

By then all budget to feed RFMF will have drained.... Top RFMF brass of 2006 error gone... then monkeys unattached to old boys will fly.... and then another doomed day will emerge worse than Bai/Kai and far worse then SODELPA as Chiefs respect to control has been long gone to see who they can get guided by for proper directions.

Futile Hope?

Hopes are futile only to people who are hopeless. Where there is true love for freedom, no hope is futile. Undying love for freedom and truth has always brought forth dreams and hopes that are never lost.
