
![]() TAKING THE GLORY: Groenewald. Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Henry Brown said five masked and armed men entered the Distill outlet in Flagstaff and threatened the staff. Brown added that Commissioner Groenewald who was at the scene stepped forward and said that he is the Commissioner of Police and asked the robbers to stop what they were doing. He got injured in the process. The robbers fled in a taxi.

Such a shame that the commissioner was claimed into taking all the credit for stopping the robbery when a usp lecturer did all the hardwork of defending the top cop himself and the store.

So will our ComPol do the honourable thing and admit that it was the Prof who stood up to the robbers and not him? Will the ComPol congratulate the Prof and bestow upon him the honour that was due unto him?

trust and dignity down the drain - i thought that he was above the "corrupt force"...if i remember correctly - "we had to recruit someone from outside Fiji (eventhough we have capable invididuals) who has no connections with the tainted beings in the force and change things around"....now we are still waiting for outcomes of all human rights abuses
