Selective justice, application of the rule of law and cooperation with other state parties have become the norm in Fiji since the armed robbery of the government of Fiji by Frank Bainimarama and his political sidekicks, which include people who took an oath to uphold the constitution. Greed for power and privileged positions got the better of them. Now they are past the point of being shameful about anything.

Indeed, how is it possible that Chinese Police should sweep in notwithstanding any MOU? This behaviour ought to give rise to no end of searching questions. Why had five years or more passed with all manner of illicit activity including murders, rapes and abductions and removal of Fiji Passorts under suspicious circumstances without professional Police and other agency response? Meanwhile, small children, women and overseas visitors and investors were being harassed, sexually molested and intimidated with impunity? Too many questions and too implausible response. Immunity breeds impunity and holds the Rule of Law in contempt.
