* Its amoral and scandalous for any incumbent government of the day to demand that Opposition parties must provide a breakdown of how they will fund their election promises but the Government can saddle the nation with a $10billion debt and borrow more from international agencies. It's like the Opposition going to a bank manager only in their underwear as security. How can they justify election promise costs?
*We had a similar spectacle in the 1997 Constitution where Sitiveni Rabuka and Jai Ram Reddy had made power-sharing MANDATORY if parties crossed the 5 per cent threshold. It led to the downfall of Chaudhry's People's Coalition government with disparate coalition parties speaking in different tongues. He won landslide mandate but formed the government on bent knees under the 1997 Constitution which required mandatory power-sharing after a general election

We owe it to the memory of those INDO-FIJIANS who were RAPED, MURDERED, DISENFRANCHISED and DEPORTED that Prasad is not in a position to make Rabuka the Prime Minister of Fiji, again, with Prasad as his Deputy Prime Minister. Once again, this bloody rascal is agreeing that Indo-Fijians must remain, second class citizens, for, to quote former NFP leader Jai Ram Reddy:
'Fiji is NOT ready for an Indo-Fijian Prime Minister'. Its quite clear they don't want an Indo-Fijian Muslim Prime Minister.
GOVERNANCE: We didn't hear about Sitiveni Rabuka's governance record from 1987 to 1999 when both, Rabuka and Reddy, were booted out in the 1999 general election
