Clearly an inside job

Oh dear. So what 'asset' was stolen from the home of Fiji's biggest con-artist and thieve of the decade?

For such a heavily guarded house, along with its own well-manned police post at the bottom of his driveway (all at taxpayers expense!), that sounds like an inside job by the treasonous iAG and cronies to win public sympathy. They've now become adept at creating diversions... and so much for their see-thru doctrine of necessity to fill their pockets. The guilty do not rest easy, even with their millions. Sad.

it is amazing the loyalty of the kaivitis for a fistful of dollars.
beat up their brothers to protect the muslim. why didn't they pick on a kai india or some other race??
stereotyping? of course. no race Fiji? maybe the pig gave the orders for these loyal kaiviti soldiers to pick up and beat up only kaivitis.

PNG police shoot notorious criminal

Nbc/Pacnews
Thursday, July 25, 2013

PORT MORESBY - Papua New Guinea's most wanted bank robber mastermind and convicted murderer William Kapris and prison escapee, Raphael Walimini, are dead.

Kapris and Walimini were shot dead in a shoot-out at Hisiu Village in the Central Province on Monday following a tip off. Police had recently increased the bounty for information leading to their recapture from K10,000 ($F8131) each to K100,000 ($F81,311) a piece.

Their bodies are now at the Port Moresby General Hospital morgue.

Assistant Commissioner and NCD and Central Divisional Commander, Jim Andrews, commended his men for working tirelessly to bring to an end the three month long operation.

Andrews says police surrounded the fugitives and a shootout ensued between them resulting in the two men being killed.

"This is the end of the three months of operations by the combined operation team from the police unit in NCD and Correction Services since the escape of the three notorious convicted criminals on May 14 this year. Until today, the police CS team surrounded the particular village and there was a shootout between the fugitives and the police and CS unit. As the result of the exchange of fire, the two were shot and they died," he said.
