Fijileaks: Rajesh Chandra obviously does not want to
upset the FFP government; he seems to be behaving like an obsequious fool - wants to be in good books of the government. An e-mail obtained by us reveal Chandra's decision; the event was organized by USP's Faculty of Business and Economics. The sub-theme was to be 'Enhancing Safety, Security and Sustainability: The role of community engagement in
building resilient communities in natural disasters'

I supported Dr. Rajesh. But if true, this is unacceptable. Totally unacceptable Not long ago he was signing the song of academic freedom. I thought he meant it. Now he purges it. If you have indeed cancelled the programme, then you have lost my support Dr. Rajesh.

Tomasi Koroi, where have you been hibernating yaar?
Rajesh Chandra as a regime lackey lost the support of free thinking academics and citizens long time ago. He has survived in his position through the political patronage of the mob in power and by surrounding himself with his sycophants, chamchas and golis

Rajesh Chandra at the helm at The university, Jiko Luveni as Speaker of Parliament, Ashwind Raj as top dog at the Fiji Human Rights Commission , a usurper as PM, a coup man as President, a mediocre lawyer as Attorney General , coup man as Pol com, coup man as Military boss - its a national disgrace the quality of leadership the people of Fiji have.

What is Khaiyum scared of that he will direct USP to cancel this event? Is that they the academics will find out things which are unpalatable to Khai?

What is it that makes USP VC accept the directive? Is he so desperate for retaining his job? I am more saddened more by USP accepting the directive than Khai giving the directive.

USP The University of the South Pacific > Towards Mediocrity and a Culture of Conformism. The VC Rajesh Chandra shows the way in achieving excellence in these new shameful university ideals.
