I don't need Chaudhry to tell me that Frank Bainimarama is a coup maker who is full of lies, deception and greed for power. Bainimarama has himself given ample evidence of that from day one of his illegal takeover of government on the pretext of a "clean - up" campaign. He has been lying ever since.But what's odd is that so many otherwise decent, intelligent people have come to believe in Bainimarama's bullshit. Self-interest, vested interest can get people to do funny things including abdicating reason and conscience. They position themselves to see what they can get for themselves by supporting the Bainimarama regime and the status quo.

Chaudhry gave a account of himself in the Close-Up. The man still has a lot of fight in him. He has the guts to publically - on national television - accuse Bainimarama of lying and deceit and being greedy for power. How many others can do that ? Chaudhry is not perfect . He did many things that were wrong in the past, including his own autocratic style of leadership BUT democracy needs a person like Chaudhry to challenge the Dictator of Fiji and his propaganda and abuse of power.

Now Cameron Slater's all is well in Fiji under the Bainimarama government ('I tried, I really did try but couldn't find a single road-block,goon squad or government censor anywhere' Fiji Sun 14 August) can't by any yardstick be compared to be of Pilger's class, can it?
In fact Cameron's piece reads like pure propaganda for Bainimarama's election campaign.
He reminds me so much of that other "independent" journalist Davis who use to churn out the same kind of stuff as the Bainimarama regime's paid propagandist.

Let me start by saying I dislike this man, MPC. His son does him no favours. RPC completely lacks his father's intellectual capacity.

He was ousted at a time when he was voted in by a landslide. That wrong has never been corrected. He was respected by regional leaders at the time he was PM.

He has made some fundamental errors. It is also the case that he has the diplomatic skills and political/ negotiation skill to take Fiji ahead. Like him or hate him, he is the best qualified person to run Fiji. He has taken great risk to give this interview. The Illegal government feel they have neutralised him and are no longer concerned with him. They will underestimate him to their peril.

Provided his corrupt, unintelligent and loud mouthed son stays in Aus, MPC should be a force to be reckoned with. A coalition of SODELPA and FLP would be the best possible result for Fiji. It would also be a just and fair result.

The alternative is a deranged megalomaniac (Frank) who lacks political skill and intelligence together with a narcissist psychopath (Khaiyum) who believes what his followers tell him.

MPC and Ro or Frank and Khaiyum. That is a no-brainer. Unfortunately it is the no-brainers that Fiji First have seduced and deluded.

Vote carefully.

Chaudhry tells court confirmed he owned the money given to him which is no secret.

Then why Chaudhy cannot tell what money he received in Canada, USA, NZ, Australia first before asking Frank to open his books on salary?

Also why Chaudhry cannot explain how he has shown 2 sets of money, one from Harbhajan Lal and another letter provided to court as to who transferred the money?

Is Harbhajan letter false, deceitful or the letter he gave to Court to hide the truth to solely benefit from the funds? I think both are false.

GREED? DECEIT? Those words describe him better. Just see what he did with the $2 Million dollars until he was brought to justice. No one would have voted for him anyway.
