Vodafone CEO Aslam Khan retires: As revealed by Fijileaks, Pradeep Lal to take over at the helm

Vodafone Fiji has announced the retirement of its Managing Director, Aslam Khan from the company at the end of this month.

Khan has been at the helm of Vodafone Fiji as its first and only Managing Director to serve in this position since the inception of the company.

Board Chairman, Ajith Kodagoda said Khan has been a strong, committed and visionary leader of the company.

He said Vodafone is the biggest and most identified brand in the country and an employer of choice for many youngsters because of Khan.

Reflecting back on his 20 years at the company, Khan says it has been an incredible journey and most satisfying career with Vodafone and he has no regrets.

Khan said he has been privileged to lead one of the best and top ranked mobile network brands in the World.

Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that the current Chief Operating Officer at Vodafone, Pradeep Lal will succeed Khan at the end of his tenure. Lal has been with the company for over 10 years. After ruthlessly using dominant market position to fleece poor Fiji consumers through exorbitant rates, especially when Vodafone was a monopoly, Aslam Khan retires a rich man. Another elite exploiter of Fiji's poor. Good riddance.

thats a cheap shot at a man who has done a lot for Fiji . I am from an NGO who benefited from voda Foundation and met aslam . he is kind hearted and genuine guy , he is simple and ordinary and Fijian in every respect

let him leaeve in peace. he is quite fortunate as he will enjoy it for life and take his loot to heaven when he goes soon. lets hunt him and remind him
