FijiFirst leader defends Sayed-Khaiyum

FijiFirst Leader, Voreqe Bainimarama said that one of the parties in Fiji is constantly using the Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum’s name to cause division.

Speaking at a campaign meeting in Lami last night, Bainimarama said that while speaking to people in Rakiraki about racial discrimination an elderly man asked him why an Indo Fijian man is standing by Bainimarama’s side.

Bainimarama said that the man then questioned him on why an i-Taukei cannot replace Sayed-Khaiyum.

The FijiFirst Leader then stressed to the people present at the campaign meeting that the type of thinking which the man displayed was a result of the poisonous ideas which were shared by politicians 10 to 20 years ago.

He also said that when he went to America another man questioned him if the Attorney General had a thesis.

Bainimarama said the man claimed that the Attorney General’s thesis weakened the things which belonged to the i-Taukei.

Bainimarama then stressed that all the rumors about the Attorney General are not true.

He added that everything was done by the military since 2000 and the Attorney General has only joined them recently.

He said if he had opposed the ideas of the military then he would have been removed a long time ago.

Bainimarama has also told the people that i-Taukei land is well protected in the 2013 constitution.

Any changes would require the support of 75% of parliament and 75% of the registered voters in the country. Source: Fijivillage News, Friday, 12/09/2014

This is an acknowledgement of their many and various Human Rights infringements by the Saddam-Khaiyum regime, even right up to this election. This election for these reasons alone cannot be called ‘free and fair’.

This election ORGANISED BY THE DICTATORSHIP has one objective : to ensure the Dictator's hold on power. Getting international monitors and all that is just for show and to give their claim to a "free and fair " election credibility.
The election was not "free and fair" from the beginning. It will not be "free and fair" at the end.

Why people are not looking at the fact that this election is designed in such a way to help Fiji First. They are the judge and jury but despite that are very much afraid. If the loose they will hang themselves. Water, milk etc are farce manifesto. People should see the continous lie by AG and PM. They don't regard the rights of people and falsely promote that all are equal.

No criticisms to you, Sir, but we are still very much LOST as to how this particular democracy / elections work.

As you have explained, for example, ROSIKA DEO -a devoted and praiseworthy Candidate – if she gets (say) 25,000 votes - it would still be inadequate to qualify her to be a MP. But only (say) 3,000 votes for the CHORIFIRST party listed Candidate Pravin Bala (dangerous driver and a pedestrian killer) would see him in Parliament.

So where exactly is “fairness” and DEMOCRACY in all of this, Sir?

Sir, the bets are ON that ROSIKA DEO will beat Bainimarama by a MILE.

ROSIKA DEO is young, charismatic and courageous. She symbolizes Fiji’s future and Hope. And she is HONEST.

People MAY even believe Bainimarama – If he is not talking (as proven) under the banner of a STOLEN name. How foolish is this man? No-one STEALS a name, an intellectual property of another, in this time and age and especially if one is trying to WIN an election by projecting himself as being Honorable, Trust-Worthy and Respectable.

Where is the Integrity, Pride, or any evidence of Original thinking in all of this…all this Fiji-First Façade? And watta misuse of our Fiji Flag!!!!

On one side of that soccer ground is Team Democracy attacker/striker Professor Warden Narsey and on the other side is Team Dictatorship defender/ golly Professor Satendra Nandan. For some reason the ball keeps slipping through his hands. I think all the under the mango tree hand activity in Meigunia has affected his grip on reality.

Yep, professor narsey is still pretty much on the ball doing what a true academic must do : cast a critical eye on what the mob in power are doing. By contrast professor nandan has become ball less and clueless of what REALLY is happening. He has reduced himself to being a spin doctor for the mob in power. What a contrast. What a shame!
