Indeed I strongly agree with the editor. FICAC is a political football created only to supress the ordinary citizen who voice their concern against the corrupt practice of FFP. FICAC is given so many evidence yet they dont charge Baikai cronies yet common people are threatened daily.

Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum had one overarching objective in mind when he teamed up with coupist Frank Bainimarama : to use him and the Fijian military to enrich himself, his family and his cronies. He has been very successful in archiving that objective by fraudulent means.

THE WAY OF THE RULER GONE ROGUE
We learn from Reuters 15/01 that the United States has expressed concern over the electoral environment in Uganda for next months elections ( ' US concerned about electoral climate in Uganda').
" Numerous reports of the police using excessive force, obstruction and dispersal of opposition parties, and intimidation and arrest of journalists have contributed to the electoral climate of fear and intimidation, and raise questions about the fairness of the process".
That is an all too familiar story of those in power for too long wanting to stay on in power by hook or by crook.
President Yoweri Musaveni 71 has been in power for 3 decades.
Musaveni's two major challengers have both accused the government of using Uganda's security agencies to intimidate supporters, including arrests and beatings, and interference with campaign events.
Rogue rulers use State agencies to serve them and their special interests rather than the public good.
That too is a familiar story as Fijileaks writes ups expose.
Only difference is that in some places it is more blatant and overt and in other places more subtle and covert.

And what the FICAC is FICAC doing about the glaring construction of the bootlegger Meghji’s Corruption House Hotel right bang in the middle of Shirley Park, Lautoka ??..??..!

A monument of CORRUPTION is under construction –in Shirley Park, Lautoka -right under everyone’s eyes -whilst the FICAC officials in Suva, are touching each others’ golis, including Khaiyum, Baini and Bala’s Goli.

That’s what FICAC is – a bunch of fat, blind, bullying, FICACing wankers - who invite the epitome of Corruption- Aiyaz Corrupt-Khaiyum - to give them performance awards…!!!
