Fijileaks to Shalveen Chand, Fiji Sun:
"1987 Bomb Front Page Story. Bula Shalveen. What were you trying to tell the readers. As it stands, it made no sense at all. I suggest you go to Aiyaz and ask him if its true that HE was the mastermind who made those bombs. The coward fled to Australia on the same day some on the Immunity list appeared in court. The story should be about this dogla who fled to Australia. His second in command FAYAAZ DEAN KHAN fled to Canada and is now living in Australia. Those on the Immunity list served their time. Moce"
Fijileaks:
We call on Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum to RESIGN for Police to carry out their investigation without any interference from him or even from Bainimarama. We know, as Graham Davis keeps reminding us, that Khaiyum writes and directs stories published in the Fiji Sun.
* KHAIYUM is NOT on the Immunity List because he fled Fiji. Remember that poor 'The Old Lady of Bakshi Street' - the coward left all his junior lieutenants and the poor old lady to face the music. Sadly, when the 'old lady' was cremated in October, he was the only one from the 1987 gang still living in Fiji who was missing at the funeral service. WHY?
* Fiji Police should ask PITA DRITI about the 1987 bombings. He was, as second lieutenant, head of the joint command centre. Khaiyum gave him the slip after he was tipped off that Police-Army were about to raid his Bakshi Street residence. (
Pita Driti: "I was a Lieutenant and I was not in command, but was one of the duty officers of the Joint Command Center in Totogo Police Station during that period")
*This week Frank Bainimarama was going on and on about George Speight. At least, Speight is serving for his crime. And, it was our Editor-in-Chief on whose legal opinion Speight was re-arrested after Bainimarama had signed the Muanikau Accord.
*Both, Bainimarama and Khaiyum, have used parliamentary privilege to expose individuals associated with the 2000 Speight Coup. We want JUSTICE and TRUTH about the 1987 Bombings. God only knows what would have been the fate of those who were thrown into Naboro had they not got the IMMUNITY.
*They might have spent years behind bars while Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum was dancing in Australia to be an actor.
* One that was killed and two others that were injured when their bomb exploded in their car, might have still been alive today. But they gave their lives for a cause that Khaiyum had convinced them was worth undertaking in 1987. Although they were staunch Hindus, they even shared beef curry at his place, before that fateful day
*It was disgusting to see Khaiyum and Bainimarama hugging and shaking hands with the DEVIL who started it all - RABUKA.
* The Fiji Sun should to ask KHAIYUM:
Were you the lead ACTOR in the 1987 Bombings?
* The paper, after we give them the name of one of their very own top executive, should also ask HIM what role HE played in the bombings.
*The Fiji Sun published the Immunity List on Khaiyum's behest to humiliate those on it, to deflect attention away from him (even putting their lives in danger) and for Khaiyum to say to Bainimarama,
'Look, Frank, I had nothing to do with the bombings'. There is no mention of Aiyaz Khaiyum or that he is accused of the 1987 bombings in the
Fiji Sun story regarding the Immunity List
* So, we have come forward, to put things into perspective. We will name others - both his inner and outer cells - if he refuses to step down. He rewarded two with TOP diplomatic postings. It is really SICKENING that he is using Fiji Sun to expose those on the Immunity List while hiding behind Bainimarama's sulu as Attorney-General and Minister for Justice in the FFP Government
Again, AIYAZ SAYED KHAIYUM MUST STEP DOWN
For too long he has held Fijians by their throats, supported by the Guns, and the pliant Fiji Sun, whose one very own was Khaiyum's foot soldier. The only reason Aiyaz Khaiyum is not stepping down is because he is sh*t scared that some on the Immunity List might break silence and testify about his master role in the 1987 bombings. STEP DOWN

During the 2000 coup crisis, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum was at the University of Hong Kong, writing his thesis under Professor Yash Ghai. Just look what he did to his own Supervisor, setting fire to the Ghai Constitution and chasing Professor Yash Ghai OUT OF FIJI.
