Indo-Fijians abject poverty remained invisible until Winston lifted the lid on their plight! Worst, by removing one's ethnicity in poverty surveys, these poor Indo-Fijians are being punished twice - 'Oh, we are all Fijians'; A TALE OF TWO BANOS IN KHAIYUM'S FIJI:

TWO BABIES - TWO LIFESTYLES! Khaiyum is yet to reach the Sumera family by foot, car, horse or helicopter in Bulabula, Ba; not to mention his "Killer Minister" Parveen Bala who lied to the family: "See You Tomorrow"

ANZ distributes relief packs in Dawasamu

FijiFirst Party general secretary and then and now Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Aiyaz Khaiyum was on the verge of being declared bankrupt for failing to keep with up his mortgage repayments on his Berry Road property in Suva. In 2009, ruin, shattered career and bankruptcy stigma starred at Khaiyum as his family desperately begged businessmen and other associates to bail him out, and to stop the bankruptcy notice from being published in the Fiji Sun. In the end the Tappoos stepped in and bought his property worth $400,000 for a staggering $810,00 in return for duty free concessions and other perks; the difference was to pay the re-mortgage loan Khaiyum had taken but could not find money to meet up with his re-payments to ANZ Bank. The sweet deal was made through Tappoos' Bright Star Investments Ltd and Aiyaz Khaiyum's Latifa Investments Ltd.

Fijileaks: This VHP (Fiji) video in no way should be taken as endorsing our interpretation of the plight of many Indo-Fijians. Their abject poverty remained invisible until Cyclone Winston lifted the lid on their plight!

Khaiyum and his cronies and Bainimarama and his cronies have prospered dramatically since their 2006 power grab. That is the important thing in the " new " Fiji of their creation. Not the abject poverty of Indo-Fijians or any other Fijian. It is " negativity" reporting when attention is drawn to that. That's why our yellow media in Fiji steers clear of doing that. They only do " positive" reporting. The kind that pleases the twin dictators of Fiji : Khaiyum and Bainimarama. Is it a coincidence that the Fijian media is following the two on their cyclone victim tourism visits like a dog on heat?

Don't blame Khaiyum, he is a mere opportunist just like the rest of his blood relatives.
BLAME GOES TO THE MAN WHO PROPS HIM UP THERE DESPITE BEING TOLD AND SHOWN EVIDENCE. All the people with foresight have seen what the end result shall be and conveyed the same to THE MAN. But he JUST DOESN'T LISTEN. Mainly because there are other people who tell THE MAN that Khaiyum is good for the post he holds, mainly so that these shadowy figures can load up on jobs, board positions, and weird power to terrorise their own enemies. Make no mistake, these shadowy figures will be the first to hit the road when the poop hits the fan. Some of these leeches will seek political asylum from their current posts abroad and won't be coming back.
Pita Driti's wife brought this Khaiyum to the attention of THE MAN and guess where Pita is today. But ONE things been overlooked. is is ALWAYS INDIANS WHO CHOOSE THE GOVERNMENTS of Fiji since 1970. They will do so again in 2018 and like the now defunct Labour party, this party loving government Williamson become defunct. The same leeches will suck onto a new group of leaders. Some of these ministers will cut grass at the cemetery and some will start a new life in Europe like other migrants currently headed that way from Syria. INDIANS have a strong vindictive memory...you can fool them only once and thereafter you become another unknown person like Chaudry.

Chiku
There u go again charging on your mount in shining armour at windmills. Have u asked yourself why has Bainimarama decided to rush off to Koro where he is isolated and away from the public eye sight for days? Why is Rosy Akbar standing in for Khaiyum in distributing reliief supplies in Ba. Why is Khaiyum uncharacteristically not in front of the cameras taking all the credit? You may succeed in widening schisms among the ethnic communities in Fiji, possibly causing riots, but have you considered that that is exactly that is in the plan?
Caius Julius Phaedrus (c. 15 BC – c. 50 AD) made the following profound comment so long ago that is appropriate to Fiji at the present time
“Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many; the intelligence of a few perceives what has been carefully hidden.

That profound comment you make reference to has complete relevance to Bainimarama, Khaiyum and their cronies. Remember how they tried to keep everything " carefully hidden" by not releasing the Auditor -Generals report for 8 years. Remember how they deceived everyone by claiming the Fiji First party name which they stole from the original owners.they are clearly not what they seem. They are dictators of Fiji masquerading as leaders in a " true democracy".
And, the intelligence of a few have perceived the deception. You Pita are not one of them.

So be it, Chiku. You may see the mountain but I see it too. And I also see the sky and clouds behind and above it and the whole universe. There are bigger issues at play here, . Please remove the scales from your eyes and, above all, use your brain for once and lesso your heart and passion

When issues of national interest are being discussed preferably the objective mind comes into play rather than the subjective heart.

The Fiji Sun, the FBCTV and the Ministry of Information reporters are permanent members of the entourage so that wherever the PM goes, it is very well reported. I wonder who is being referred to here as being isolated and being out of the public eye sight for days?

The defunct Alliance government had a similar set-up to Fiji First. Vindictive Ratu Mara and vindictive Ahmed Ali.
Mara used the chiefly system as a tool to separate the two major races and Ahmed Ali wanted separate seats for Muslims. The Muslim community were Alliance chamchas just like the current government chamchas. Everybody else wanted a true genuine democracy. Ahmed Ali once said that Indians didn't feed him, meaning become a colaborater with whoever is in power and shaft everyone else. He died a lonely death in Australia. So too did the Alliance. That's called people power,AND Fijian history has been such that any government that rules, does so for 2 terms only.Even if you're a coupster like Sitiveni Rabuka. So definitely start preparing for a new government come 2018. All right thinking people need to form Avery robust, no bullshit party now to govern from 2018.

Winston has exposed the Hypocrisy Of The Twin Rulers of Fiji and all their fanciful pronouncements about everyone in Fiji now becoming
" equal " because they have decreed so and that everyone has prospered economically under their rule. There is no prize for guessing who have ACTUALLY prospered under their rule.
