So where has all the strutting as a " Big Man " got him? Now he can smile all he wants but his smile cannot hide the fact that his reputation is in tatters or as the Indians say in tatti.

A Fijian warrior escorting Indian chiefs around the Fiji National University . This is very symbolic. This is what the once we were warriors Fijian race has been reduced to.

That is a sheepish smile. A false show of bravado. Ganeshwa always thought of himself as too smart by half, and everybody else as idiots. In his arrogance he thought he was indestructible. Maybe he is smiling because he thinks his buddy Dr mahen reddy will ultimately save him. It's a very murky, corrupt system out there. I'd love to see the smirk wiped off Ganesh's face when he is sent to naboro.

You are right. The smartie thinks all what is happening is false and he will come out clean. Given that he was charged on April fools day , lets hope the people of Fiji will not be fooled and FICAC will broaden the counts incorporating improper governance issues highlighted by numerous complaints from FNU staff. Even the 2013 constitution guarantees fair employment practices to every citizen of Fiji and GC being the holder of public office and FNU being a public element , FICAC needs to incorporate bad, unethical and biased decisons which has affected staff. More counts need to be added. The man deserves Naboro and his collusion with Minister Reddy in coming to the half a million payment needs further investigation.

FNU is a pathetic example for a university. It hasn't changed under new leadership as some people would like to make us believe. Firing of qualified locals for speaking up about the injustice is continuing. More expertriats are hired who can hardly speak English. I have a economic lecturer from Turkey and it's hard to understand even one sentence of his. Then there are Indians, Indonesians, Bangladeshi, Pakistanis, Malaysians. Probably all influence by reddy and kaiyums. WTF is immigration department doing by giving these people permits.

We reap what we sow....we are all guilty including all faiths who in their own narrow out look gave support to various Coups which started by Rabuka,Speight and Bainimarama.False promises kai Viti swallowed the bait[paisa!!!] and look what happen after more than 20 years Fiji had attracted Professionals who hardly can speak Fiji English let alone the Queen's Version as spoken by former expatriates. They were encouraged by the Illegal Military Rule to pursue a career in Fiji and turn it into a New Banana Republic.Power corrupts and like an octopus it's tentacles permeate making people drunk with power and FNU is a casing point headed by Ganeshwa.

Those who comment on this site are sheer fools. Victor Lal simply publishes those comments which suits his standing and aura. He simply avoids to publish those which give a balanced view. every one is innocent until proven guilty but Lal wants to advance a case to show Ganesh he's guilty.

Those who comment on this site are sheer fools. So that would include you, right? I find nothing wrong with Victor Lal's journalism. In fact I think he is doing and has done fine work in revealing the rot in the Bainimarama dictatorship in Fiji. It is probably that which you find problematic!,

Johnny is not alone in venting his anger regarding expat lecturers at FNU. My son studied BCom last year and his accounting, auditing and law teachers were from India, Sri Lanka and Tanzania, none of whom could speak proper English. My son had no option in the final year but to quit and go to Uni Fiji.

Read the letter to editor by Lana Lewis of Guyana in today's Fiji Times to understand what happens when a country is under " very poor governance ". Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
